Hey, thanks for stopping by to learn more about me
I am a literature evangelist, through which I also pursues my life-mission: to lead people to discover identity in Christ through Christian education.
I began preparing for this mission by writing my own Christian children’s book entitled Jesus Loves Everybody: Especially Me.
I have donated books at Health Fairs and to families of students attending circular schools.
One of my greatest contributions was when I collaborated with Donate a Book to the School Children of Viwa Island, Fiji Project via LinkedIn to send copies of my book to families on the Fiji Island, specifically, to Najia Village as a way of exposing families to available Christian books. I have also donated designer T-shirts of Jesus Loves Everybody: Especially Me to Haitian families through charity missions to Haiti.
Join me on this mission.
I love to teach young children to read. My love for teaching early childhood literacy and witnessing for Christ inspired me to do just that through the Jesus Loves Everybody series. I received the 2012 Sharp Writ Book Award for my first book, Jesus Loves Everybody: Especially Me.
My books highlights the LOVE of our savior for humanity, as a way of softening the young learners’ hearts, so that as they get older the Holy Spirit will draw them to Christ. My hope is that they will eventually give their hearts to Jesus. In addition, they will become workers in His vineyard while they, themselves, are heaven-bound.
While you’re at it, check out some Letters and Articles I wrote.
I have a strong background in evangelism. My Christian education includes: attendance at the Northeast Evangelism Training School (NETS), Evangelism Workshops, and participation in Subway Evangelism.
I directed the Children Ministries Department at Horeb SDA Church in Brooklyn for over 5 years. I taught the Beginner, Kindergarten, Primary, Junior, and Earliteen Sabbath School classes for many years. I have led my students in Sidewalk Evangelism.
I spent two years in Pennsylvania in an attempt to escape troubles in my marriage. During my time there, I directed the Woman Ministries Department at Bethlehem SDA Church and founded Bible Truth Ministries from my apartment. I was actively involved in community outreach events in the Reading area.
I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership. I am the Director of Children’s Ministries at Horeb and work as a special education teacher by day, a literature evangelist by night, and write during the wee hours of the night. I enjoy reading and playing the piano(beginner).
My husband, Roosevelt Roy and I, have been married since 1994, and are the proud parents of a handsome brown-eyed son, Nolan. We live in Brooklyn, New York.
