Reminders of my Identity in Christ
I use these Bible verses to help me understand more about my identity in Christ. They also help me to not lose sight of who I am in Christ Jesus. I am reminded constantly that I was created in His own image. This knowledge brings me joy. I want to share this same joy with you through these reminders. Enjoy!
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
pleasure and will.
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
1 Corinthians 6:17
But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
1 John 3:1-2
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
